Producing Content for Various University Needs
I have now had experience working for many departments within RIT, providing for various needs and niches with the university. From student life-focused content to informational videos for parents to marketing for events and programs, I have been hired to create content for all of a university's many diverse audiences.Â
Student Government
Creating weekly updates was a creative challenge but one that excited me and allowed me many creative freedoms. As the sole editor and producer on SG shoots, I was able to hone my individual skills as a videographer. This was one of my first experiences analyzing social media data and tweaking my content based off of audience engagement.
Parents and Families
Working with a much smaller team at Parents and Families allowed me the opportunity to collaborate with many different departments across RIT. I met with and shot with people from Financial Services, Academic Advising, Dining, and more. This role gave me invaluable experience working with talent and directing people, as well as editing in a much more formal format.
Student Life
As a part of the Student Life team, I was given specific assignments and got to experience on more polished/planned out shoots. I was able to work with our team to develop the tone and branding for the Student Life Instagram page.
